WATERCOLOURS
Please note that I am not accepting commissions until further notice - January 2004.

  Process and Prices

All portraits are individual works of art - watercolors on acid free paper, and if cared for properly will last for many generations.

1. I meet with the customers to get acquainted, create sketches and take photos, anywhere from 150 to 400 shots, to capture the best possible image. (I will only work from my own photos.) My studio is located in Palgrave, Ontario, Canada.

2. After the pictures are developed or downloaded, we both decide on the final images to be used as a reference.

3. A non-refundable fee of 30% of the total cost of the final painting is paid before the work begins.

4. The painting is completed and the customer receives the artwork in 4 to 20  weeks, depending on my workload. Final payment is due on receipt of the portrait. Framing is not included in the price, but can be arranged on request.

The prices vary according to content, difficulty and backgrounds, but generally run $1000.00 for 16" x 20" portrait (e.g. Dillon) to $4000.00 for larger works (e.g. family portrait 24" x 32"). GST and PST (15% taxes) will be added to the price of the paintings.
